Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has proclaimed, “The XFL is back.” The producer, wrestler, actor, and XFL owner released a hype tape to let fans know that the football league will be back in 2022. The Rock and his business partner Dany Garcia voiced the hype tape with the new date after first saying the league would return with a “bubble format” in 2021. “The opportunity in front of us, with our new ownership, is simply too big to rush back,” Rock said.
