People Are Booking Christmas Vacations Earlier Than Ever Before

What a difference a year can make. Last September, the travel industry agonized over a plummet in Christmas bookings. This September, some hotels are already sold out for the holiday season, according to CNBC. Tim White, founder of travel website Milepro.com, said the spring brought a “huge spike” in holiday bookings at major hotel chains like Hilton and Marriott. Florida’s Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa told CNBC that more than 90% of its hotel rooms are already booked for the December holiday period. According to the senior travel manager for Similarweb, Hawaii is the most in-demand destination. Do you already have trips booked for December/January? Are you nervous COVID-19 could still alter those plans?
