Jennifer Nettles Returning to Broadway as Jenna in ‘Waitress’

Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles will join the cast of the Broadway musical “Waitress.” The singer will star as “Jenna” taking over for Sara Bareilles.  Nettles isn’t a stranger to Broadway, she previously starred as “Roxie Hart” in the musical Chicago.  Jessie Mueller, Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, Nicolette Robinson, Shoshana Bean have all played the role of “Jenna.” Nettles will get her turn starting October 19th.  “I’m thrilled to be able to finally get to wear the apron,” says Nettles.  What is your favorite Broadway musical?
