Huntergirl wowed the American Idol judges as well as put a big smile on her parent’s faces during her Sunday night performance of Sugarland’s “Baby Girl.” The country standout went from number fourteen to the top eleven in the competition that finds all the American Idol judges praising her vocals as well as her great personality.  Gabby Barrett was on hand to serve as a mentor to Huntergirl, “I can’t believe I get to meet you. You’ve done so much for all of us girls in country music,” Huntergirl told Barrett. Luke Bryan called Huntergirl’s performance, “perfect,” while Katy Perry said she would be happy if Huntergirl won the competition. Lionel Ritchie said Huntergirl “looked like an old pro,” on stage, which will serve her well as she performs again on Monday’s episode (April 25th) on ABC.
