Clownado… How Do Movies Like This Get Made?!

Are you a fan of “Extreme Weather” movies?  How about horror films?  Clowns?  ALL THREE?!

This is where I’d usually say “I have the movie for you,” but in reality, I don’t.  I mean, a movie has been made that combines all three of these things, but I can’t say the final product looks like something that you’d want to spend your time on.

The IMDB entry for Clownado describes the movie like this:

“Cursed demonic circus clowns set out on a vengeful massacre using tornadoes. A stripper, Elvis impersonator, truck driver, teen runaway, and a dude get caught in the supernatural battle between femme fatal and the boss clown from hell.”

Now, I’ve seen some pretty terrible movies, and yes, some of them I saw on purpose (Resident Evil II-V, DOOM, Dumb and Dumber To), but I feel like that the makers of these movies are at least TRYING to make a decent movie, whether or not they succeed is a different story, but at least they are trying.  I’m not quite sure what the makers of Clownado are going for though.  Is it one of those “So stupid its awesome” movies?  Are they going for decent scares?  Riding on IT’s coat tails?  I can’t tell.

I realize that people like all different kinds of movies and nobody is forcing anyone to watch these terrible creations, but I do wonder, who is putting up the money to makes these things?  No, really, WHO IS IT?  Because I have a great idea for a movie, and I need funding.

It’s a movie about a robot driving instructor who goes back in time for some reason, did I mention his best friend is a talking pie?  (It’s a Simpsons joke…  Just go with it)
