Child Genius To Graduate College At Age 9

Think you’re smarter than a third grader?  Meet Laurent Simons of Belgium. Simons is a child prodigy who’s studying electrical engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, and set to finish his degree next month – at the age of nine. And that’s not all – Laurent is *also* pursuing a medical degree and will soon enter a PhD program.  He says his goal is to develop artificial organs. Laurent’s parents say they have no idea how their son became so smart, but his mother jokes that “I ate a lot of fish during the pregnancy”.
