Carrie Underwood Tears Up Praising How “Super Supportive” Miranda Lambert Is

Carrie Underwood was moved to tears on Monday talking about her friendship with fellow Nashville queen Miranda Lambert. “She’s always been just super supportive and super sweet,” Underwood said in a radio interview.

She also discussed Lambert’s recent comments in favor of Underwood receiving Entertainer of the Year at this week’s CMA Awards. “I mean, it’s a nomination for all of us,” Underwood said. “It would definitely be…a win for all of the things that we’ve been doing, all that stuff that she mentioned that I’m so lucky and blessed enough to do.” The 2019 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 13 starting at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC.
