Carly Pearce Sets Sights On Chapter-Closing Ryman Show

Carly Pearce will soon close a chapter that was longer than all her “29” years put together, figuratively speaking. Pearce worked her way up the Country music ladder, often hearing “no” to her advances in the industry.  “When I drive down Music Row, I have the mental image and the weight of the years that I spent crying in my car,” the 32-year-old country singer said in a new Tennessean interview. After winning Vocalist of the Year at last year’s CMA Awards, Pearce will close the chapter of her rise with two shows at the Ryman Auditorium or the “Mother Church,” of country music on Wednesday (October 19) and Thursday (October 20). When did you finally get a “yes” to something you wanted? How long were you told “no? Share your story.
