Brothers Osborne’s Halftime Show Goes Dark as Bears Light Up Lions on Thanksgiving
The Brothers Osborne ran into some issues while performing during the halftime show of the NFL Thanksgiving day game between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, FOX News reports. While performing their song “Stay a Little Longer,” the power in the stadium cut out, prompting boos and groans from the crowd.
The crowd was already impatient with the Country act, as they’d already twice delayed the start of the show over sound issues, but once power was restored, they were able to complete their performance. On the field, Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky threw a go-ahead touchdown to David Montgomery with just over two minutes remaining to secure the 24-20 victory, ESPN reports. The Bears have now won three of their last four games to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, while the slumping Lions have now lost five straight to drop to 3-8-1.
