Brad Paisley to Team Up With Cancer Survivor on TV Special for New Song “Alive Right Now”

Brad Paisley’s prime-time TV special–aptly titled Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special–is bound to make you laugh. But you may also tear up when you hear a brand-new duet Paisley’s set to sing alongside cancer survivor Addie Pratt. “One of the things I said when ABC gave me this show was, I would like to do something good with this, as opposed to just making a show,” Paisley says, adding that he met Pratt at St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

He also says about her, “I had no idea this survivor was like Beyoncé. She deserves a record deal.” Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special–which also features appearances by Carrie Underwood, Peyton Manning and the Jonas Brothers–premieres Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. ET on ABC.
