Blake Shelton Meets 7-Year-Old Indiana Fan With Cerebral Palsy at “The Voice” Semifinals

A 7-year-old Blake Shelton fan from Indiana got to meet his idol recently when he was flown to the set of The Voice for this season’s semifinals. Last month, Colton Harkness learned that he’d get to meet Shelton on the Voice set thanks to the Kids Wish Network, a nonprofit that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses. Colton and his family got to watch the semifinals while enjoying VIP treatment, even meeting contestants Rose Short and Jake Hoot before going up to the coaches’ chairs for a special meet-and-greet with Shelton.

“Me and Blake are friends now!” Colton says, while his mom Kelsey adds, “My favorite part was seeing Colton get so excited meeting Blake Shelton.”
