After A Summer Of Packed Concerts, The New Orleans Jazz Fest Was Canceled Amid Rising Covid Hospitalizations

Organizers of the New Orleans Jazz Fest have called off this year’s event due to rising covid cases in New Orleans.  A statement was released and the organizers say they are looking to come back in April and May of 2022.  Fans who bought tickets in 2020 and 2021 will get instructions on how to roll over their tickets for 2022 shows or get a refund. Covid cases in New Orleans have risen 91 percent in the past few weeks with only 37 percent of Louisiana residents being vaccinated.  Wu-Tang Clan featuring The Soul Rebels, H.E.R., Lizzo, Ludacris, Jon Batiste, The Isley Brothers, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Ledisi, Big Freedia, PJ Morton, were expected to perform at the Jazz Fest.  What major musical event are you missing due to COVID?
